[Games]
Void Eagle is my newest release and Scuba Adventure is my oldest. Two different projects with different motivations. Clicking Scuba Adventure will take you to Newgrounds website. I made Scuba Adventure using Adobe Animate and Photoshop. It was very early in development career but still part of my journey. Void Eagle was made using Unreal Engine 4, Maya, and Photoshop primarily. Please see project page for further development of Void Eagle.
[3D Modeling & Level Design]
3D Modeling and level design are passions of mine. I have used Maya, 3Ds-Max, Blender, Zbrush, and Mudbox. I have animated and rigged with Maya. I enjoyed Zbrush for organic surfaces and Maya for hard. Both level designs were created with Unreal Engine 4. Assets were used from the marketplace in the dungeon picture of my own game. I made my own assets for Wild Mustangs, my first experience of level design.
[Collaboration]
Viral Defender was developed in Epic Games Unreal Engine 4. It was a group project with six students at SNHU. I was assigned as the only game artist. This was the first time that I was introduced to game development with a team and even as a game artist. The challenge was to make many models and level assets every week of the project. When first working on the game I also took on some of the other roles as some of our team members needed help. I did the level design for 3 of the 5 levels and did the programming for the moving platforms with blueprints. I also created the floating blood cells particle effect and designed the keycard system. I made the laser projectile and was responsible for incorporating it into the game in entirety, including sound effects. Still despite everything I have done for developing Viral Defender I have learned much more since. The models that I developed for this game were done using 3DS-Max. Since the project I have tutored game art majors on 3DS-Max and helped better their understanding 3D modeling. This was a great experience, and I am proud of the work that I achieved with this project and the passion I gained from the exposure. I look forward to working with new team members.
[AI Programming C# & C++ Demo]
Water Under The Bridge was a project using C# to show two different ways to use AI tracking. Everything in the project for SNHU was created by me except for the character models.
Left Center Right dice game was a C++ coding project created from scratch using Visual Studios. I enhanced this projected beyond the requirements with visual representation of the dice in an otherwise simple text format.
Coding with blueprints in Unreal Engine and hard coding in Visual studios has been great fun for me. I have really enjoyed the problem solving that hard coding brings. I have always appreciated the freedom to solve problems in a variety of ways. The reward of coding problem solving is a unique experience for me. I have also used Java Script in some web applications and have learned the basics of C.
I have no problem learning other languages as learning is one of my favorite things.Â
[Side Project: Holographic Projection]
Post-graduation I worked for an artist that needed video editing, effect generation, and picture editing. I compiled these skills to bring their idea to life with a new medium. Holographic fans spin using LED light sequencing to project a solid image. My phones camera did not do the frame rate or image justice. Some of the videos shared below were some different iterations along the work pipeline while I fine-tuned exactly what my client was looking for. This was a lot of fun and just further demonstrates my ability to work within many specific areas that encompasses all that is game creation and communication.

[Bonus Skill: Photography]
I was the head manager of a 25-horse equine facility for 4+ years. While there I honed my photography skills which I shared with boarders daily on social media. My level design video Wild Mustangs was modeled from memory of the farm shown in the photos. This was one of my first attempts at level design and it operates as a great 1 to 1 scale of the lower barn, indoor and outdoor riding arenas.
